Part 3

“God blesses those who work for peace, for they will be called the children of God.”

Work at living in peace with everyone, and work at living a holy life, for those who are not holy will not see the Lord. Look after each other so that none of you fails to receive the grace of God. Watch out that no poisonous root of bitterness grows up to trouble you, corrupting many.

How do I do the ongoing work of peacemaking in all my relationships?

1. Welcome the forgiveness ___________________.

2. Seek forgiveness ___________________.

“So if you are presenting a sacrifice at the altar in the Temple and you suddenly remember that someone has something against you, leave your sacrifice there at the altar. Go and be reconciled to that person. Then come and offer your sacrifice to God.”

3. Extend forgiveness __________________.

“If another believer sins against you, go privately and point out the offense. If the other person listens and confesses it, you have won that person back…For where two or three gather together as my followers, I am there among them.”
