Take a look at Step 10 and the Bible verse above. Any T. used this verse in her testimony tonight. Step 10 is our way to continue our growth in the right direction, God's way, instead of falling back into our old way of thinking, which is the way of the world (in other words, ways that the media, the workplace, and even well meaning family and friends tell us is normal and ok). Slipping into our old way of thinking is dangerous for us, because old ways of feeling and behavior soon follow.
Even if we are not on Step 10 yet, we can still inventory the direction we are heading in our recovery with regard to being honest in what we share in meetings and working steps with our sponsor.
Wherever you may be in your journey of recovery, talk about how, where, and when you can daily take a personal inventory to determine if you are still headed in the direction of recovery!
