Bad Excuses for Not Making Amends):
But that was so long ago, why open that can of worms?
What I did was illegal, I don’t want to go to jail.
It was both of us, the other person is more to blame than I am.
Making amends will cost too much money, I’m just getting back on my feet.
What I did wasn’t my fault.
The person thought it was serious, but I didn’t think it was any big deal.
Anyone in my situation would have done what I did.
I don’t want to think about it, it makes me feel bad about myself
Jesus forgave me, isn’t that enough?
“And this is his commandment: We must believe in the name of his Son, Jesus Christ, and love one another, just as he commanded us.” - 1 John 3:23
