But he said to me, "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness." Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ's power may rest on me.  – 2 Corinthians 12:9

 

1.  She talked about needing the power of God to stay sober (see 2 Corinthians above), and asking him to save her.  Have you asked God to save you from yourself?  Tell about it.

 

2.  God has a plan for your life.  Do you trust that statement, even though you don’t know what the plan might be?  Tell about any struggle with this.

 

3.  She talked about the “built-in forgetter” in her brain that makes her return to her addiction if she does not listen to God every day.  Do you have a plan to listen to God and live according to his will?  (This does not happen by accident!)

 

4.  Have you turned your life and will over to God, yet?  If not, talk to your group about doing it today.
