We have good news! There is a Second Chance Job Fair planned for YOU on October 15, 2025 in Cape Coral, FL! This job fair is open to all job seekers with an emphasis on those who are looking for background-friendly employers.
This job fair will be unique and embodies a culture of celebration! We will have various resources and services onsite, in addition to on-the-spot interviews! Our mission is to create a welcoming and empowering environment where individuals facing employment barriers are seen, known, and loved.
Grace Church strives to connect job seekers with opportunities, resources, and relationships that foster dignity, build confidence, and inspire hope. Through collaboration with community partners and background-friendly employers, we help open doors to meaningful work and a brighter future, believing that every person has value, purpose, and the potential for success.

To better set you up for success, we’re offering a special Job Readiness Workshop the day before the fair in partnership with FutureMakers Coalition and CareerSource.

This event would not be possible without a team of dedicated volunteers! From the moment job seekers arrive until the last handshake at the end of the day, volunteers help create the warm, welcoming environment that makes this fair so special. We especially need bilingual volunteers.
Volunteer Training: Sunday, October 12 at 12:30pm at Grace Church, Cape Coral Campus

Hospitality & Greeting – making people feel welcome as they arrive
Job Coaching – encouraging and guiding job seekers before they meet employers
Entry Surveys (Registration) – assisting participants with signing in
Exit Surveys – checking in with participants before they leave and offering encouragement
Guides – helping job seekers navigate the event and connect with employers/resources
Hospitality Support – serving food, drinks, and refreshments
Set-Up & Breakdown – helping the event run smoothly from start to finish
If you’re an employer, we’d especially love for you and your hiring team to be onsite to meet candidates face-to-face, conduct interviews, and extend real second-chance job opportunities.
If you’re a resource partner, your programs and services—whether they help with housing, education, training, recovery, legal support, mental health or other areas—play a vital role in helping job seekers remove barriers and move toward lasting stability.
Together, employers and resource providers create the network of support that makes second chances possible.
